DESCRIPTION:“Nature Up Close” Insects! Arachnids! Myriapods! Oh My!\nWhat can you discover when you look up close and study? You will build the best shelter for a bee or butterfly.\n\nThis program is free for all\, courtesy of the Explora Children’s Science Museum and the library.\nYou do not need to be a library patron to participate but you will need to pick up a bag of materials so your children will be able to perform the experiments. \nThere will be 15 bags available (one per child) distributed on a first-come basis on the following days: \n\nSat.\, 5/15 (1-5)\nTues.\, 5/18 (3-7)\nThurs.\, 5/20 (10-2)\n\n\nTo reserve a bag\, please email us at childrens@placitaslibrary.com . Be sure to include each child’s name\, age\, and the name of a parent\, grandparent\, or guardian. We can request more bags if needed if given enough notice. So please let us know soon if you are planning to join us on May 22. \nStay tuned for info about our virtual Summer Reading Program and Reading Challenge: Tales and Tails featuring live and recorded programs about Australian animals and music\, a dog show\, a magic show\, a reptile show\, and a shadow puppet camp.
