80th Anniversary of the Trinity Event

Save the date Sunday July 13th at 2 p.m. at the Placitas Library for a special showing of the PBS documentary The Bomb The first half of the movie will be shown leading up to the Trinity explosion, with time after for serious discussion of the current implications of nuclear weaponry. We encourage those present to share memories of “Duck and Cover” and so many other artifacts of the Cold War.
