Have you ever been to a book talk by an author? This would be an awesome experience for your child age 5 and up. The book is the Tale of Piper, the Spider Who Built Bridges by Stephen R. Van Handel. Stephen is a very accomplished writer, artist, and musician. Most of the story’s main characters are insects and animals with a few humans included. It is about living and working together and helping your friends and neighbors. Stephen will read excerpts from his book. He was pleasantly surprised by the interest adults have shown in this book; so adults are welcome as well. Please come join us on Sunday, January 11 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the Placitas Community Library. Our library motto is: A Place For Everyone; Una Placitas Para Todos.
