Placitas Community Library is a 501c3 organization. Operating expenses are 95% funded by community donations. These are a few of the regular donations that help cover the operations of the library.
Be a Part of Our Memorial Walk - Buy a Brick
Bricks are available in either 4 x 8 or 8 x 8. Each can have a custom inscription and become a permanent part of our memorial walkway between the library entrance and the flag pole.
One Community Auto
Visit One Community Auto page to donate a car. Simply complete the online form and designate Placitas Community Library. They will handle everything.
Donate Books
Placitas Community Library has a Donated Books Team that helps financially support the library with books and DVD donation sales. This team processes books and DVD's donated by the community. They list books for sale on the PCL Amazon account as well as place books and DVDs in the lobby for sale. Some of these books are also catalogued and put into the library collection. They donate what we can't use to other local charities.
