Me the Tree
Me the Tree is a story told by a cottonwood tree. When it was a young seedling, it became aware of its physical surroundings. Angels, Fairies and Wood Spirits joined as it continued to grow. In the end the tree realizes that when it’s no longer a part of the physical world, a universe will remain. The story describes the cycle of a tree as it becomes aware of its surroundings, both physical and spiritual. It is a great metaphor to introduce young readers to the cycle of life
The storyteller will be Rich Mullaney, author and wood carver. This program will be presented on Zoom and the link will be on our website. Rich is conducting an art contest for children ages 12 and under. Rich is the sole creator of the contest, creating the rules and offering prizes. To read all about it, please go to his website: www.RichmanCarvings.com. Participation is entirely up to parents and children.
