Printing
Patrons can print from the secure library PCs at the following prices.
Black and White
$0.15 / single sided page
$0.20 / double sided page
Color
$0.75 / single sided page
$1.25 / double sided page
Scanning
Patrons can scan B & W or Color documents to a Patron PC at no charge.
Fax Documents
Patrons can fax from the library at the following prices.
$1.00 for the first page
$0.25 for each additional page
Laptops & Patron PCs
Placitas Library maintains 5 patron desktops and 3 patron laptop computers. Laptops may be used anywhere in the library and are available for checkout for in-library use only. All of the library’s PCs are secure and protect patron information. When a patron logs off, all of the information introduced during use will be deleted automatically.
WiFi
The library has free WIFI, both inside and outside in the parking lot. Simply connect to the free PCL_Internet or projectConnect by ITDRC.org WIFI networks when at the library. These can also be used for WIFI calling if your mobile phone supports that.
