Please join us for our annual Halloween Party for kids Sunday, Oct. 29 from 1-3 PM. Wear a costume, hear scary stories from storyteller, Indiana Bones, play games and Trick or Treat.
Each program will have stories, an activity, time to check out books, and refreshments. The program will be 1-1.5 hours.

Glass art with Karen Shatar. Kids will paint a design of their own choosing on glass.
An iexplora! Family Science Event! Reading prizes and gift bags will be given out. And cake!
On Sunday, September 8 from 10-3, you can get your hands dirty making seed balls. Take one or two home with you and make some for the library as well. Let your seed balls dry out over the winter, then throw them into your garden. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Fall is coming and our attention is turning to APPLES! Come have a Barrel of Fun on Tuesday morning, Sept. 10 at 10AM with your pre-school youngsters. We will read the classic, Johnny Appleseed and Dr. Seuss's Ten Apples Up On Top! Activities and snacks are included!
The Geology Fest is on Sunday, September 29th at 1:00. There will a lot of rocks, crystals, and minerals with varied and fun activities and giveaways. Bring your unknown rocks for identification assistance. There will be several geologists to help. Rock on at the Placitas Library!
