Tell Your Story of Placitas in the 60’s and 70’s

This community storytelling workshop was created in concert with the NM History Museum’s Voices of Counterculture in the Southwest exhibit. Placitas has been chosen as one of five communities to to participate in this project.

Turn On – Friday, January 19 at 6pm. Introductions: open to the public

Tune In – Sat/Sun, Jan. 20-21, 9am – 3pm. Workshop: participants only

Shout Out! – at Placitas Community Center, Sunday January 28 2-4pm. Storytelling and potluck

Thanks to a generous grant of $10,000 from the PNM Fund, we have been adding rocks to stabilize the hill in front of the library and have bought new furniture for using the Wi-Fi on our front portal.
