We need your help with the Tumbleweeds!
On the west side of the library, where the native grasses are, the tumbleweeds are rampant. Please stop by when you have a few minutes and pull or cut down some of the tumbleweeds. It would go a long way in preventing a worse infestation next year! You can leave them on the ground as mulch as long as they haven’t seeded. The seeded ones need to be put in plastic bags for disposal. Be sure to wear gloves and long sleeves as they can be quite irritating to the skin.
HUGE Thank You to:
* Stan Dieker for grading the parking lot and spreading the crusher fines
* MORE thanks to Stan Dieker for donating his time, trailer and truck for our Fourth of July parade float
We couldn’t do it without you !!!

July Artist: Alan Yablonsky
The late Alan Yablonsky was a lifelong artist and teacher. A former Placitas, New Mexico resident, inspired by the light and colors of the Southwest, he devoted his time and talent here exclusively to the pursuit of regional pastel landscapes. His work is in numerous private collections and was featured in multiple professional and juried exhibitions. Reception was held earlier this month, but the exhibit will continue through July
