Over the last ten years, members of Sophia’s Giving Circle have built awareness, connection, and community through small sums local giving. We’ve funded projects as wide ranging as scholarships for graduating Bernalillo High students, accessibility improvements for disabled seniors, and animal education programs that teach elementary school students humane stewardship of animals and its connection to developing compassion for their fellow humans. Working together, project by project, we’ve also developed lasting friendships and deep respect for differing points of view within our circle.
