Shelley Miller, art teacher, and Genevieve Leitner, guitar teacher at the Albuquerque Academy and a performing artist for Guitar NM, will be leading these two activities, which include introductory movement activities where your child will move and dance to guitar music followed by a discussion of how the music makes them feel. There will also be an introduction to the guitar, a slide show, and two opportunities to create original pieces of art that express their musical experiences. Again, you may attend one or both days.
